Dr. Meric Cagri Agir was born in 1979 and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2004.
He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul Medeniyet University Goztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2011, thereafter took roles as a Hospital Manager/Chief Physician at Konya Public Hospitals Union Eregli State Hospital between 2013-2015, and as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist/Department Head at Bahcelievler State Hospital in 2015.
He then worked as an Obstetrician and Deputy Chief Physician at Avrasya Hospital Gaziosmanpasa between 2016 and 2018. Dr. Meric Cagri Agir worked as an Obstetrician at Medical Park Gaziosmanpasa Hospital between 2018 and 2020.
Dr. Meric Agir has been providing service for his patients in his own private clinic in Ataköy, Istanbul since March 2020.
On the other hand, Dr. Agir received international training in the fields of professional specialization and language in different time periods and he regularly shares his knowledge through many press platforms and news channels to inform the public in the most accurate way.
As someone who takes an active role in planning and implementation of various social responsibility projects, Dr. Meric Cagri Agir also leads the national organization held every year on November 17 as part of the World Premature Day.
Agir, who has served with the motto that human values are above everything, has conduced to the birth of thousands of babies and united them with their families. Besides childbirth, Agir also miraculously touches people’s lives by taking roles in very important operations related to gynecological diseases
